TAPE Continues USARC ATM Support at Fort Bragg
June 30, 2021
Alexandria, Va. – Technical and Project Engineering, LLC (TAPE) announced today that the U.S. Army Training Reserve Command (USARC) G-3/5/7 Directorate awarded TAPE industry partner, Apogee Solutions, a contract to provide staff support to the Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) G-3/5/7’s family of Army Training Models (ATM). The General Services Administration Multiple Awards Schedule contract has a one-year base period and a total performance period of five years if USARC exercises all options.
USARC provides input and analytical support to ATM to help develop funding requirements for USAR’s collective and individual training. The models support resource decision making within the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process at HQDA and subordinate commands. At Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Apogee Solutions, supported by TAPE, will specifically provide:
- Decision support analysis and recommendations across all phases of PPBE
- Operating tempo data from the field to ensure that USAR units utilize all available resources and provide accurate data for Major Subordinate Commands to validate future maintenance requirements
- Detailed statistical data to support USARC training requirements for Program Objective Memorandum and budget submissions
As part of the ongoing Army-wide ATM contract, TAPE provided prime USARC ATM support at Fort Bragg from 2007 to 2020. After the Army separated USARC ATM support from the main ATM contract, TAPE continued this work through two previous subcontracts.
TAPE CEO and President Louisa Long Jaffe stated, “TAPE is honored to continue its 14 years of supporting USARC ATM needs and bolster its technical and management consulting services capabilities. I am confident that the combination of Apogee Solutions’ expertise in Department of Defense military exercise and training support and TAPE’s intimate client knowledge and synergy with our main ATM contract support will maximize the training readiness of Army Reserve soldiers to protect our Nation.”
