Instructional Support
The TAPE Instructional System Specialists (ISS) team will continue to provide expertise in Instructional Systems Design (ISD) and Performance–Based Instruction throughout each program’s acquisition lifecycle. The ISS team analyzes and evaluates multiple facets of training systems (including usage data) to ensure the customer receives the most effective training products and devices.
In support of program-required Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV&A) activities, the ISS team will author the VV&A Plans and conduct Fidelity Assessments, and Training Effectiveness Evaluations (TEEs). The ISS team will facilitate standardization across programs by establishing and documenting required methodologies, procedures, templates, and instruments. The application of the ISS team’s expertise in the areas of ISD, curriculum development and Program of Instruction (POI) development and validation will ensure the customer’s requirements are met or exceeded by using all resources available in the private and Government sector ensuring the best product is delivered to the customer.
The ISS team will assess the instructional integrity of all training products (e.g., New Equipment Training (NET), Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals, and student courseware), to ensure training product meets the customer’s training requirements. TAPE has performed ISS SETA services for Army PEO STRI and Marines PM TRASYS.
