Innovation Bridge®
TAPE conceived and designed a methodology called the Innovation Bridge® to serve as an incubator of cybersecurity technologies and services. TAPE uses the methodology to “bridge” the gap between promising new technology and service companies with potential Federal government customers.
For example, TAPE is the only government contractor that carries a cybersecurity product called Cauldron, owned by CYVISION, on TAPE’s GSA IT Schedule 70 service schedule. This was our early use of the Innovation Bridge® that carries forward to the present. In addition, we use the Innovation Bridge® today to bring two small technology and service providers to the Department of Homeland Security and to the US Army Intelligence community through TAPE’s VETS II GSA schedule. One company is a sub to TAPE on our TSA RVA VETS II Task Order and the other subs to TAPE on our Army INSCOM task order. Additionally, TAPE is planning to expand the Innovation Bridge® model to training technology companies.
