As a result of Congress and the President passing and signing the new Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 (TCJA), TAPE’s executive management chose a special way to participate in this spirit of economic growth.
The VETS 2 Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) is a Multiple Award, IDIQ contract to provide customized IT services. This is a 5-year contract with one 5-year option for service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) firms, which has a maximum contract ceiling value of $5 billion.
TAPE was a part of a team awarded a multiple-award IDIQ contract, to provide management and technical services support to the Navy with Booz Allen Hamilton through the Navy C4ISR Program. The name of the contract is SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific (SSC Pacific).
Under this contract, TAPE will continue to support the Regular Army, the Army National Guard, Army Reserve, the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Forces Command (FORSCOM), the Army Special Operations Command and other Army Commands by developing and allocating training resources that support the Army’s Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) submissions to the Office of the Secretary of Defense and Congress.
TAPE was awarded a four year $28.7 million contract by U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM), Program Manager Training Systems (PM TRASYS), to provide training systems and training support services for live, virtual, and constructive simulation training environments.
TAPE is proud to announce that our CEO and President, Louisa Long Jaffe, has again been appointed to the National Contract Management Association’s Board of Advisors (BOA). Jaffe’s tenure will run through Program Year 2016 (July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2016).
TAPE announced today that its CEO and President Louisa Long Jaffe was selected as a SmartCEO 2015 Brava Awards winner, as one of the top female CEOs in the in the Washington, D.C. area. This is Jaffe’s first year receiving this honor.
TAPE CEO and President Louisa Long Jaffe was named by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs (VA) to participate on the Advisory Committee on Women Veterans. The committee was established to provide advice on the needs of women veterans regarding health care, rehabilitation benefits, compensation, outreach and other programs administered by VA.

Dr. Hobbs, who works in TAPE’s Strong Point Research Division in Orlando, Florida, was recognized in the category of Rising Business Leader of the Year–National.
