TAPE Awarded $15.4M Army ITPM Contract on VETS 2
Technical and Project Engineering, LLC (TAPE) announced today that the General Services Administration on behalf of the Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) G6/Ground Intelligence Support Activity awarded the company a task order contract on the Veterans Technology Services 2 (VETS 2) vehicle. The task order has a nine-month base period of performance with four one-year option periods for a total potential value of $15.4 million.
INSCOM conducts intelligence, security, and information operations for military commanders and national decision makers. TAPE and its subcontractor Phase II Staffing and Contracting, LLC (Phase II) will provide a full range of information technology (IT) project management (PM) support to Headquarters INSCOM G6. This work includes large- and small-scale projects for military construction, IT enterprise services, IT communications/networking, software and hardware upgrades, military compound IT master planning, IT support for direct military operations, and IT services/networking contingency planning. The work takes place at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, INSCOM Major Subordinate Commands worldwide, and the Metro Park Office Campus, Alexandria, Virginia.
TAPE has provided IT and PM services and other support to the Army and other military and civilian agencies on many previous contracts, including 13 years on Army Training Models (ATM), our largest and longest-held contract. The newly awarded task order is TAPE’s second under the VETS 2 IT support vehicle after Transportation Security Administration Risk Vulnerability Assessments.
TAPE CEO and President Louisa Long Jaffe stated, “This latest VETS 2 contract award cuts across two of TAPE’s core capabilities: technology services and management consulting. It also validates our 13 years of experience and four recompete wins providing ITPM on the ATM contract. TAPE and Phase II, a fellow Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, look forward to supporting INSCOM in executing mission command of operational intelligence and security forces.”
