TAPE Chief Executive Officer and President Louisa Long Jaffe served in the Women’s Army Corps and U.S. Army Reserves for 28 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2002. To continue helping her country, Ms. Jaffe co-founded TAPE in 2003 as a service-disabled veteran-owned small business.
One highlight of Ms. Jaffe’s tenure at TAPE was the National Veteran-Owned Business Association naming her as its “First Annual Woman Vetrepreneur of the Year” in 2014. Also that year, the White House honored her as a veteran/entrepreneur “Champion of Change.” In 2015, Secretary of Veterans Affairs Robert A. McDonald appointed Ms. Jaffe to a two-year term on the Advisory Committee on Women Veterans.
Ms. Jaffe stated, “Creating opportunities for myself and other veterans to continue serving their country through federal contacts is one of the best parts of co-owning TAPE.” She added, “I am extremely pleased to once again be on the Largest Veteran-Owned Companies in Greater D.C. list. We hope this listing increases our visibility to government and industry organizations seeking a trusted and proven partner to provide ‘Measurable Results’ toward solving the nation’s most difficult challenges.”
