TAPE Announces Leadership Change and Promotion

Ted HarrisonAlexandria, Va. – Technical and Project Engineering, LLC (TAPE) announces the promotion of Mr. Ted Harrison to Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer effective September 10, 2018. He will assume the operations responsibilities previously performed by Executive Vice President William Jaffe, who will focus on strategic business growth.

Mr. Harrison will lead the planning and execution of business operations and internal growth. He will be responsible for managing all operations personnel within TAPE’s various programs centered around Training Solutions, Management Consulting, and Technology Services.

Mr. Harrison joined TAPE in April 2018 after over 37 years of active service as an Army officer, retiring as a Major General. Most recently, Mr. Harrison served on the Section 809 Panel on Acquisition Reform tasked by Congress to find ways to streamline and reform Department of Defense acquisition. Before that, he served at the Pentagon as Director of Operations for the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management. From 2013 to 2015, Mr. Harrison was Commanding General of the U.S. Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama. While there, he led an organization with over 5,000 personnel located at more than 100 sites across the globe and an annual operating budget of $400 million.
