Alexandria, Va. – Technical and Project Engineering, LLC (TAPE) announced today that its partner Booz Allen Hamilton was awarded a contract by the U.S. Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare System Command (SPAWAR) Systems Center (SSC) Pacific to provide technical and engineering support. Under the five-year, multiple-award indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract, Booz Allen supported by TAPE will compete with three other awardees for work on the Enterprise Communications and Network Division Support Services contract. This contract has a $79 million ceiling.

Based in San Diego, California, SPAWAR SSC’s Enterprise Communications and Networks Division provides technology insertion, software and systems engineering, modeling and simulation, installation and testing, and integrated logistics in support of communications, information technology (IT), and other Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence initiatives. Booz Allen and TAPE will compete for task orders supporting activities, such as:

• Management
• Engineering
• Integrated logistics
• Interoperable communications; and,
• Homeland security operations support.

In addition, task orders may also support the North Atlantic Treaty Organization; U.S. Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard; U.S. Transportation Command, U.S. Special Operations Command, U.S. Strategic Command Headquarters, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, National Security Agency, and the Department of Homeland Security.

The engineering and support services award is Booz Allen’s second with SPAWAR SSC in the last year in which TAPE is a partner. The new contract, in combination with the earlier-awarded contract to support the System of Systems and Platform Integration Division, moves Booz Allen and TAPE closer to providing a full spectrum of IT and management support services to SPAWAR SSC.
