TAPE Achieves ISO Certifications in Quality and Project Management

Alexandria, Va. – Technical and Project Engineering, LLC (TAPE) announced today that it earned the International Organization for Standardization’s (ISO) 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems (QMS) and 21500:2012 Project Management certifications.
TAPE’s ISO 9001:2015 certification demonstrates that its products and services deliver consistent quality, meet stringent requirements, and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
While TAPE already had ISO 9001:2008 certification, 9001:2015 offers several key enhancements, including:
- Full alignment with the Plan-Do-Act-Check cycle
- Greater focus on continuous and systemic process improvement; and,
- Additional emphasis on measuring and assessing process inputs and outputs.
TAPE Quality Manager Evelyn Gee said, “TAPE’s effort to meet the more rigorous quality standards of ISO 9001:2015, particularly the continuous and systemic process improvement focus, enhances our operational performance across all contracts and task orders.”
TAPE uses these certified quality measures when preparing training resource and planning documents for the U.S. Army. Warfighters and appropriators rely on the accuracy and credibility of these materials to make critical funding decisions. The result: TAPE’s superior quality processes help the Army provide optimal readiness for soldiers, while also reducing taxpayer costs.
The ISO 21500:2012 Project Management certification highlights TAPE’s structured approach to apply fundamental management knowledge and best practices to ensure successful project delivery. Benefits of following ISO 21500:2012 include:
