Retired MGen Ted Harrison to Lead New Products Division at TAPE
Alexandria, Va. – Technical and Project Engineering, LLC (TAPE) announced today that retired Army Major General Theodore (Ted) C. Harrison joined the management team as Senior Vice President of a newly formed Products Division.
“As the head of a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, I am always pleased to bring distinguished veterans on board,” TAPE President and CEO Louisa Long Jaffe stated. “Ted’s expertise with acquisition and resource development aligns perfectly with what TAPE needs as we grow this new line of business.”
TAPE’s Products Division will develop innovative training products and solutions for government and commercial clients. Mr. Harrison will lead a multidisciplinary team to identify existing technologies that TAPE can leverage to deploy learner-centric training with a focus on leadership thinking.
Most recently, Mr. Harrison served on the Section 809 Panel on Acquisition Reform tasked by Congress to find ways to streamline and reform DoD Acquisition. Before that, he served at the Pentagon as Director of Operations for the Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management. From 2013 to 2015, Mr. Harrison was Commanding General of the U.S. Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama. While there, he led an organization with over 5,000 personnel located at more than 100 sites across the globe and an annual operating budget of $400 million.
