TAPE AWARDED THREE-YEAR CONTRACT FOR ARMY TRAINING MODELS

WASHINGTON, DC | 30 May, 2017– Technical and Project Engineering, LLC (TAPE), announced Monday May 8th, that it has been awarded a three-year contract, estimated at $45M, to provide training resource modeling support to the Army through its Army Training Models (ATM) contract. TAPE was originally awarded the prime contract for this work in 2007.
Under this contract, TAPE will continue to support the Regular Army, the Army National Guard, Army Reserve, the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Forces Command (FORSCOM), the Army Special Operations Command and other Army Commands by developing and allocating training resources that support the Army’s Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) submissions to the Office of the Secretary of Defense and Congress. ATM is comprised of the Training Resource Model Information System, Battalion Level Training Model, Training Resource Model, Aviation Training Resource Model, Institutional Training Resource Model, Manday Resource Model and FORSCOM 1-N.
TAPE’s scope of work on this contract includes: Software Development and Support, Functional Analysis, and Staff Support at Army headquarters and other locations throughout the continental United States. Having primed this contract for more than 9 years, TAPE brings consistency, specialized expertise, and institutional knowledge to ATM. Joel Fleck, TAPE’s Vice President for defense programs, serves as the ATM Program Manager and has overseen the program for nearly 28 years.
