[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] WASHINGTON, DC | February 6, 2015 – Technical and Project Engineering, LLC (TAPE) announced that TAPE CEO and President Louisa Long Jaffe was named by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs (VA) to participate on the Advisory Committee on Women Veterans. Representation on the committee, established to provide advice on the needs of Women Veterans regarding Health Care, Rehabilitation Benefits, Compensation, Outreach and other programs administered by VA is for a term through September 2016.

This appointment is the third of such honors awarded to Ms. Jaffe in less than 12 months.  Last year she was selected as National Veteran-Owned Business Association’s “First Woman Vetrepreneur of the Year” and later was invited to serve on a White House panel for Veteran Business Owners.

“I am so pleased to be appointed and contribute to this mission for the VA,” said Jaffe.  “I plan to approach with the same commitment, competency, and advocacy for Veterans and Women that has been my passion throughout my military and civilian career.  As a Veteran Entrepreneur, it will be my honor to increase my connection with veterans everywhere throughout my term on the Secretary’s special committee.”
