TAPE CEO AND PRESIDENT APPOINTED TO NCMA BOARD OF ADVISORS

Jaffe, has again been appointed to the National Contract Management Association’s Board of Advisors (BOA). Jaffe’s tenure will run through Program Year 2015 (July 1, 2014 until June 30, 2015).
“Through my tenure on the Board, I have had the opportunity to gain valuable insight about contract management as well as collaborate with my peers in the contracting industry,” Jaffe said. “With each year that passes, I continue to be impressed by the breadth and depth of the educational and professional development opportunities that NCMA has to offer both new and current contracting professionals.”
Jaffe has been appointed to NCMA’s BOA each program year since 2008. Members of the BOA are appointed in accordance with the NCMA bylaws to provide senior level counsel to the Association’s national officers on issues of importance to the contract management profession. The council consists of senior executives representing a cross section of the profession, including the public sector (federal, state, and local government), private sector (industry and professional firms), and academia. NCMA’s PY 2015 President Elect Penny White, a senior contracts manager with The Boeing Company, will chair the BOA.
In a letter announcing Jaffe’s appointment, Laurence M. Trowel, NCMA president-elect PY14 stated, “We greatly value the breadth of experience and variety of perspectives you [Jaffe] and the other BOA members bring to the Association and we appreciate your willingness to share it with our members.”
