WASHINGTON, DC | May 25, 2012 – The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) announced today TAPE CEO and President Louisa Jaffe has been named as one of three finalists for the NAWBO Greater DC 2012 Woman of Distinction Award.
The Woman of Distinction award recognizes women in the greater DC area who demonstrate innovation in business, products/services or ideas; support women business owners; and promote or otherwise enable the women’s business environment.
“I am truly honored to be selected as a finalist for NAWBO’s Woman of Distinction award,” said Louisa Jaffe, TAPE CEO and President. “I love being around women who believe that in America anything is possible ── even starting and growing a successful business,” Jaffe added.
The Finalists will be honored and the 2012 winner will be announced during the chapter’s Annual Banquet on Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at the Tysons Crowne Plaza Hotel in Tysons Corner, Virginia.
