TAPE WINS PROGRAM MANAGEMENT AND INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SUPPORT CONTRACT WITH SPAWAR SYSTEMS CENTER CHARLESTON
WASHINGTON, DC | April 18, 2012 – TAPE announced today it is one of six companies awarded a five-year, $47 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to provide program management and integrated logistics support to Information Warfare, Information Operations, and Associated Command Control Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) for SPAWAR Systems Center Charleston. The work will be performed at C4ISR headquarters in Charleston, South Carolina.
“We are honored and privileged to serve on this contract for SPAWAR,” said Louisa Jaffe, TAPE CEO and President. An active member of the SPAWAR community, TAPE has had an office in Charleston area for the past two years. The company is also a corporate member of both the Charleston Defense Contractors Association and the Charleston Chamber of Commerce.
Under this contract, TAPE is now eligible to bid on a range of task orders to support cryptologic programs and provide support for existing Quality Management (QM) support on various shore, surface ship, submarine, aircraft, and ground mobile Cryptologic and IW programs and projects.

Winning task orders and multiple IDIQs is a people-oriented business and our goal is to provide the best people and solutions to manage and support SPAWAR’s programs,” said Mark Mohler, Vice President, Programs, Acquisition, and Engineering is the contract lead for TAPE. “We invested two years into a focused and deliberate plan to win this contract which has now paid off,” he added. Mohler said the next step is to hire local professionals to support the contract.
