TAPE Unit Appraised at CMMI-DEV L3

Alexandria, Va. – Technical and Project Engineering, LLC (TAPE) announced today that its Enterprise Solutions unit was appraised at Capability Maturity Model Integration for Development Level 3 (CMMI-DEV L3). GMS Registrar Ltd. performed the appraisal.

Many organizations that develop products use the CMMI-DEV model for process improvement. They meet Maturity L3 after passing a Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) A appraisal. TAPE’s successful CMMI-DEV L3 appraisal means it has defined engineering processes across 18 process areas. The SCAMPI A appraisal focused on the Army Training Models project, TAPE’s largest contract.

TAPE CEO and President Louisa Long Jaffe said, “We have long relied on using and analyzing defined processes across project areas to enable us to identify areas for improvement and always present the best possible client support. This successful CMMI-DEV L3 appraisal further proves to government and industry organizations that TAPE can deliver high quality, consistent, timely, and cost-efficient projects.”
