Earned Value Management

As an integrated technique for assessing project performance, Earned Value Management (EVM) is more than a good idea, it is an Office of Management & Budget (OMB) directive (OMB Circular, A-11, Part 7). TAPE helps customers design and implement their own EVM systems and employ them to their maximum potential.

Specifically, TAPE provides expert mentorship in the design, implementation, execution, and optimization of our customers’ EVM systems. We identify and recommend appropriate data gathering, tracking, and reporting practices that meet or even exceed OMB requirements.

Additionally, TAPE has created internal training procedures designed to offer guidance to those members of our staff who are not EVM-certified to allow them to develop a proficient working knowledge of this key management asset.

TAPE has developed and implemented EVM systems for major government efforts. Furthermore, we have implemented systems and conducted the actual EVM analysis that allows our clients to monitor progress, preemptively identify issues, and make fully informed resource and scheduling decisions.
