The SMARTCEO’s Executive Management Award recognizes the achievements of talented management figures in the Mid-Atlantic area.  Honorees are chosen based on their “extraordinary work ethic, passionate leadership style, and success-driven management strategy.”  Gray was a clear choice for this award due to her hard work, dedication, and noteworthy expertise in the marketing field.

Having worked in the marketing and communications field for 15 years, Gray has had an impressive professional career.  She has spearheaded marketing and communication efforts for national brands, including the Coca Cola Company, UIC Technical Services, and DRS Technologies.  In 2001, she served as a civilian Special Events Manager with the Department of the Army (DOA) in wake of the September 11^th terrorist attack.  In doing so, she served as a liaison between military security planners and host-nation merchants to ensure the safe and successful execution of large-scale events.

In light of this accolade, Daria Gray will be profiled in the March/April issue of SmartCEO magazine, which is read by over 15,000 local CEOs.  In March, over 400 C-level attendees will gather to celebrate her and fellow award winners at the Executive Management Awards reception.
